A fleeting glimpse of serenity, snapped at the moment a pair of dugout canoes cross paths in the centre of a vast flowing expanse of water, as the motorised pirogues ferry passengers between opposite banks of the wide Amazonian river. The prim young girl sits beneath a parasol with a poetic grace and an enigmatic, almost asiatic countenance. Shot on 35mm film.
