"Is it original art?"
Are your photos AI-generated?
No! They are all real photographs that I took, in real life, with an actual camera. Never AI-generated images.
How do I know this is real art and not just a poster?
It's an original photograph, not a mass-market poster. I take the picture, print it in my own studio on fine art paper, and mount it by hand. You're buying a print made by the photographer who captured the shot, not a bulk reproduction run off by a big retailer.
Who took these photos, and who makes the prints?
I took every photograph in the collection, and I handle the printing, mounting, packing and shipping myself from my studio here in Spain. When you buy a Nomad Print, there's no stock library or middleman between you and the person who made it.
Are Nomad Prints limited editions or numbered?
Nope, and that's deliberate. Nomad Prints are 'Open Edition' which just means I don't cap the number of a given image. One of the founding ideas of Nomad Prints is to create artwork that someone like me would find affordable. So that means none of the false scarcity that limited edition manufacture.
Do you sign the prints?
Yes. Every print I make is hand signed in pencil on the passepartout mount, on the bottom right below the photograph.
"How are they made?"
Are the prints available in black and white as well as colour?
Yes, most images are offered in colour or black and white. The monochrome versions are individually edited for composition, light and geometry, and occasionally I'll adjust the crop also. Same sizes available, same prices, same mount.
Will the print fade over time?
Any print fades eventually, especially in direct sunlight, but mine are made with archival pigment to resist it for decades. And if you have an early Nomad Print that's lost colour over the years, get in touch: I'll happily replace it and you just cover the delivery cost.
What paper are the prints made on?
I print on heavyweight semi-matte fine art paper. A substantial, slightly textured paper that allows deeper shadows and finer details than fully matte options, without that reflective shine of gloss paper. Each print is then window-mounted in a white, acid-free passepartout so it's ready to frame.
How are the prints made?
Every print is made to order in my own studio. I print each one myself on a professional photo printer, check it by hand, mount it in its passepartout, and pack it for shipping.
What inks do you use, and how long will the colours last?
I use archival pigment inks, which are made to hold their colour for decades. Kept out of direct sunlight and ideally behind glass, your print will stay true for a very long time.
"What about sizes and framing?"
What sizes are available?
There are five sizes, each available in metric or imperial: Small 18×24 cm / 8×10 in, Medium 24×30 cm / 10×12 in, Large 30×40 cm / 12×16 in, XL 40×50 cm / 16×20 in, XXL 50×70 cm / 20×28 in.
Why are there both centimetre and inch sizes?
So the print fits your wall wherever you are. The metric sizes match standard European frames; the imperial sizes match standard US frames. It's the same photograph, cut to suit whichever frames you can buy off the shelf locally.
Can I order a custom or larger size?
Of course! For a custom-made larger print just get in touch and tell me the image and the wall you have in mind, and I'll talk you through the options.
What is the passepartout mount, and why is it included?
Every print comes window-mounted in a white archival passepartout — the card border around the image. It makes the photograph breathe, protects it, and keeps it from touching the glass, if you choose to frame it.
How do I frame my print, and what size frame do I need?
It's designed to be easy. The outer edge of the passepartout is a standard frame size (within a millimetre or two), so you simply buy an off-the-shelf frame in that size and slot your Nomad Print straight in.
How should I look after my print?
Hang it out of direct sunlight and frame it behind glass, and your print will last beautifully for years. The passepartout already keeps the surface off the glass, which is exactly what fine art paper needs. UV-protective glass is a nice extra but not essential.
"How are the prints delivered?"
Where do you ship from, and how long does delivery take?
Shipping is free, worldwide, on every order. I send by registered courier, usually DHL or UPS, whichever serves your part of the world best, and email your tracking number as soon as I fulfil the order, normally the next business day. Approximate delivery: UK and Europe 4 to 6 business days, USA and Canada 6 to 12, rest of the world 10 to 20.
How is the print packaged so it arrives undamaged?
Carefully. Each print ships flat in a custom rigid box with a lid, protected so it arrives in perfect condition.
Do you offer digital downloads?
No. For copyright reasons I don't sell digital downloads. Part of what you're buying is the physical object: a hand-made, mounted print, made to last and made to hang. If you need one especially quickly, message me and I'll do what I can.
Will I have to pay customs charges or import duties?
I print and dispatch from Spain, inside the EU, so EU customers pay no customs or import duties. Buyers outside the EU may owe local charges on delivery.
There is a problem with my print
My print arrived damaged. Now what?
If your print arrives damaged or faulty, I'll always put it right. Just send me a photo of the print and the packaging within 14 days of delivery and I'll arrange a free replacement at no cost to you, including return postage.
I changed my mind. Can I get a refund?
I want you to love your print. Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery. Return postage is the buyer's responsibility, and prints must come back in their original condition. Faulty or damaged prints are always replaced free, so just send me a photo. As each piece is made to order, please contact me before returning.
How do I return my print?
Email me at adam@nomadprintsonline.com with your order number and I'll guide you through it. Please contact me before sending anything back. Returns go to my studio: Calle Alt Empordà 17, Girona 17162, Spain, in the print's original condition and packaging.
